Terms of Service

Welcome to FastCV Maker ("we", "us", "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our FastCV Maker mobile application and web services (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Who may use the Service

The Service is available only to individuals who can form legally binding contracts. If you are under the applicable age (e.g., under 13), you may not use the Service.

2. Account registration

• You may be required to create an account to use certain features. You agree to provide accurate information and keep your account credentials secure.
• You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

3. Subscriptions, payments and refunds

FastCV Maker offers free and paid subscription tiers. Paid features are billed in accordance with the payment method you choose.

3.1. Payments

• For purchases made through the Apple App Store, Google Play, or other platform stores, additional terms from those platforms apply. Apple or Google handles the payment processing for in-app purchases and subscriptions. For purchases through these platforms, please refer to their refund and subscription management policies.
• For web payments (if any), we may use third-party processors (e.g., Stripe). We do not store raw card numbers; payment processors handle that information.

3.2. Subscription renewals

• Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled prior to renewal. You are responsible for managing and canceling subscriptions through the platform where you purchased them (App Store, Google Play, or our web portal).

3.3. Refunds

• Refunds are governed by the platform provider’s policies. If you purchased through the App Store or Google Play, you must request refunds through the respective platform. For web purchases, contact support@yourdomain.com for assistance; refunds are provided at our discretion and as required by law.

4. Use of AI-generated content

The Service may offer features that use third-party AI providers (for example, OpenAI) to generate or assist in editing resume content. By using AI features, you understand and agree that:

• AI-generated content is provided for convenience and suggestion only. You are responsible for reviewing, editing, and verifying any AI-generated text before use.
• We may transmit your text inputs to AI providers. Do not include extremely sensitive personal data in prompts (e.g., social security numbers, financial account numbers, detailed medical records, or minors' sensitive data).
• AI providers may retain or process data as described in their privacy policies. We recommend reviewing the privacy policy of any third-party provider used by the Service.

5. User content and licenses

"User Content" means content you submit to the Service (e.g., resume text, uploaded photos or documents).

• You retain ownership of User Content you submit.
• By submitting User Content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, store, reproduce, modify, and display that content for the purpose of providing the Service (e.g., generating resumes, previewing, exporting). This license ends when you delete your content or account, except where retention is required for legal or security reasons.
• You represent and warrant that you have the necessary rights to submit User Content and that the content does not violate any third-party rights.

6. Prohibited conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for illegal activities or to infringe others' rights.
• Upload content that is unlawful, abusive, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable.
• Attempt to interfere with, reverse engineer, or circumvent security or any feature of the Service.
• Use automated means to access the Service (e.g., scraping) except as expressly permitted in writing.

7. Third-party services

The Service integrates or may integrate with third-party services (AI providers, analytics, hosting, payment processors). Your use of those services may be subject to separate terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party actions or policies.

8. Intellectual property

• We and our licensors retain all rights in the Service and its content (excluding User Content). You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the Service except as expressly permitted.

9. Disclaimers and warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event will FastCV Maker, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees or agents be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or exemplary damages arising from your use of the Service. Our aggregate liability for any claim related to the Service shall be limited to the amount of subscription fees paid by you to us in the 12 months preceding the claim (or $100 if no such fees were paid), to the extent permitted by law.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless FastCV Maker and its affiliates from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising from your violation of these Terms or your use of the Service.

12. Termination

• We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if you breach these Terms or for lawful reasons (e.g., legal requests).
• Upon termination, your right to access your account and User Content will cease. We may delete account data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

13. Governing law and disputes
